We were met at QANTAS departures in Brisbane by a very effecient team who had been advised that we would be arriving witth the model boxes etc. It took no time to have the boxes and all the checked in luggage weighed and dispatched down the chutes - thank you so much Greg Hoy (Qantas Airways - Manager Freight Compliance) for making the arrangements and advising the staff of what to expect.
The flight left on time and was a very uneventful flight which departed Brisbane at 11am on Sunday 27th and arrived in Tucson at 7am on Sunday 27th!! No problems with customs or immigration and the boxes arrived - look in "perfect" condition and Greg had organised with QANTAS staff in LA to be ready for us also.
Richo organised the van and we drove from LA to Tucson with ALL the luggage etc very comfortably arriving at 7pm this evening - we are all exhausted but have had a shower refreshed and will be going to the Texas Steakhouse for a well earned steak and beer or two.
